It was a good night for Panther football as we traveled to Coloma to take on the Comets, beating them 52-0. After receiving the opening kickoff, it didn’t take the Panthers long to find the endzone when Levi Getz got around the right edge scoring on the first play from scrimmage. After holding the Comets on defense it was Levi once again returning a punt 99 yards for the score. After that the Panthers never looked backed. Scoring touchdown for the Panthers were Levi (2), Kaiden Bierhalter (defense, fumble return), JT Davis, Jacob Schaefer, Colt Swisher, and Owen Epple. Not to be shown up by the offense, the defensive also came to play last night as they held the Comets to zero first downs and negative yards of offense for the entire game, including the second half when played mainly by our 7th graders. Our defense was led in tackles by Owen Epple, who played like a beast from the linebacker position. This win improves the Panther to 2-0-1 on the season and remains unbeaten. Next week our young Panthers travel to Lawton to take on the Devils, in what we will our toughest task of the season thus far. Game time is 5pm.
