The Watervliet Lady Panthers hosted the Benton Harbor Tigers Saturday afternoon in a non-conference battle. The Lady Panthers opened up a 23 to 12 half time. After the intermission, the Lady Panthers struggled to find the basket and the Tigers fought back outscoring the Lady Panthers 9 to 4.

In the 4 quarter, the Tigers kept fighting and cut the lead to one point. MJ Flowers hit a BIG 3 point basket to build the lead to 4. The Tigers scored again with under a minute. Samantha Dietz score a basket off of a Grace Chisek assist and pick from Adrianna Winters to seal the victory with seconds to go.

Dietz and Flowers led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 16 and 12. Dietz led the team with 15 rebounds.

The Lady Panthers travel to Fennville Tuesday for a 6:00 game. GREAT week Lady Panthers.
