Despite seeing its five run lead whittled down by the end, the Panthers still held off the Bees for a 9-7 victory. Watervliet collected 10 hits to Bridgman’s 14. Watervliet got things moving in the second inning. Serena Reyna singled, driving in one run. The Panthers pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Natalie Knight doubled in two runs. Sophia Warsko grounded out, scoring one run. Watervliet tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Hannah Hart and Addison Riley all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Hart earned her first varsity win, as she struck out four and walked one. Knight, Gitersonke, and Worley each collected two hits in the game.

The Panthers are now 1-1 on the season.
