After a 3 week break, the Lady Panthers travelled to Coloma to face their division rivals, the Coloma Lady Comets. Both teams struggled to score early and tried to shake off the rust from a long break. The score was tied late in the first quarter, when Madalyn Hutchins entered the game and caught fire, knocking down three shots from behind the arc and quickly giving Watervliet a 9 point lead. It was a back and forth battle after that, with Coloma eventually cutting the lead to 2 points with just 3 minutes left in the game. However, Zoe Smith took over, finishing an old fashioned 3 point play, then knocking down 4 out of 5 free throws in the final minute to ice the game.

The Lady Panthers were led in scoring by Ariana Rowe with 15 points, despite Coloma often double teaming her. She also grabbed 8 rebounds and had 4 blocks. Hutchins finished with 9 points and Smith 7.

Celina Klimkiewicz and Vicky Smith played well in making their first varsity starts.

The Lady Panthers are now 4-0 in their division and 6-1 overall.

Pitre 3 points, 5 rebounds
Klimkiewicz 2 points, 3 steals
