The Panther boys ran in the Regional meet in Portage thanks to qualifying as a team at last week’s Pre-Regional. Ezra Troyer ran his season best race and the second-fastest race of his career to finish fifth overall crossing the line in 17:27. This is the third straight year that Troyer has been a Regional Medalist and has qualified as an individual for the State Meet. He will look to put an exclamation point on what has been a great high school career this Saturday at the State Finals at MIS in Brooklyn. German Casiano ran a strong race to finish 20th and just missed qualifying for State by a mere 3 seconds. Camdon Geisler and Jimmy Kolosowsky helped again push each other to new PRs while Senior Aaron Leoni capped off his Panther cross career with his third-straight PR-setting race. The teams’ hard work all season paid off as they were able to put together their best team performance at the most important meet of the season.
