The JV boys came out strong and built a lead but Martin hung around and battled back. The boys set good screens and scored in the post on the offensive end to keep the lead. On the defensive end they crashed boards but had trouble stopping the Martin 5 out flashing offense. With less than two minutes to go Martin hit a three to bring the game within two. The boys started to slow down the offense and Martin had no choice but to foul. Tyson Williams went to the line and made his first free throw but missed his second to make it a three point lead. With less than 30 seconds left Martin took a timeout to draw up a play but the Watervliet defense was too much and Martin could not get an open look. Martin forced a three point shot and missed, Watervliet secured the rebound and won the game. The JV boys now look forward to playing Brandywine next Tuesday.

Rylee Carter and Connor Underwood led all scorers with 10 points a piece. Brady Bornas had 7.
