Early Lead For Centerville (MI) Seals Fate For Watervliet Panthers JV Baseball

The Panthers JV watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-2 loss to Centerville (MI) on Friday in game 2 of the double header. The Watervliet Panthers JV struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Centerville (MI), giving up 11 runs on 9 stolen bases.

Bell started the game for the Panthers JV. He surrendering eight runs on one hit over one inning, striking out three. Logan Duscha and Dylan Tucker entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

The Panthers JV are 2-2 on the season and look to get back on track when they play Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic on Monday at Panther Field.
