Watervliet Panthers JV Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Berrien Springs

The Panthers JV took the lead late and defeated Berrien Springs 10-9 on Thursday after trailing 7-0 going into the 6th inning.

Logan Duscha started on the mound with Cole Pline and Evan Hutchins eating up the middle innings. Kade VanNiel came in to pitch the 7th inning for the clutch save.

The Panthers scattered seven hits in the game. Josh Reeves went 3-for-4 at the plate with 3 singles and 2 RBI’s to lead the team. Kade VanNiel had 2 singles with an RBI with Dylan Lawson and Dylan Guess each with singles and RBI’s. The JV Panthers finish their season in Coloma tomorrow night for a double header.
