A rough 4th quarter for the freshman boys helped Hackett beat them on Thursday night. The boys started off strong when Hackett was running a man to man defense and then Hackett switched to a 2-3 zone which made it a back and forth game until the fourth quarter. Then with 4 minutes to go in the fourth Hackett hit back to back 3s to put them ahead by 8 and the boys just couldn’t battle back. On a positive note the boys 2-3 zone offense looked a lot better, they just need to work on better shot selection and better ball movement.
Rylee Carter led all scorers with 10. Connor Underwood added 9 and Roger Harden scored 7.
