Watervliet JV Wins SAC Tri The Watervliet JV volleyball team put together a resilient night of play to win the SAC tri, battling through a tight first match and sweeping the second. Watervliet opened the night with a nail‑biter against Constantine, dropping the first set 24–26 after a back‑and‑forth battle. The Panthers regrouped quickly, tightening up their defense and communication to take the second set 25–21. With momentum back on their side, they closed out the deciding set 15–9, showing poise under pressure. The Panthers carried that energy straight into their matchup with Martin, controlling both sets from start to finish. Aggressive serving and steady offense led to a clean sweep, 25–11 and 25–15. Even with a distracting student section in the gym, Watervliet stayed composed and executed when it mattered. The girls play their last game Thursday at Loy Norrix.
