The Panthers fell to state-ranked Hackett in three sets. While the Panthers slowed down Hackett's front-row attacks, it was not enough to secure the win. Despite the loss, there were several exciting rallies and big points scored by the Panthers. In the third set, the Panthers built a 10–6 lead over Hackett and held on to an 18–16 advantage before Hackett rallied to take the final set. The Panthers return to action on Tuesday at home against Fennville.
