Watervliet JV Volleyball Falls 1–2 to South Haven in a Hard‑Fought Match Watervliet’s JV volleyball team battled through a tough match against South Haven, losing 1–2 with scores of 25–23, 20–25, and 12–15. The first set was tight from start to finish, but the Panthers stayed composed and pulled out the win. In the second set, defense and coverage slipped, giving South Haven the momentum they needed to even the match. The third set turned into a close back‑and‑forth fight, with both teams trading points and long rallies. The girls kept pushing and stayed competitive all the way to the final whistle. Brooklyn Woolett stood out with strong leadership in the back row, keeping plays alive and helping steady the defense. Alivia Raymond stepped up in a big way running the offense, making smart decisions and keeping the team organized in tight moments. A tough loss, but a gritty effort with standout performances. The girls play again on Thursday at Hackett.
