The MS football team traveled to Lawton losing a hard fought battle 36-20. After falling behind early Mason Palmer would return a kickoff 70 yards and add a 2 point conversion Lanning to Sexton. Down 12-8 2nd Qtr. Palmer would add to his rushing total on a 30 yard TD run. The Panthers would take a 14-12 lead into the half. In the 2nd half the Panther D came to life shutting down the blue devils and added another score on a 40 yard TD pass from Lanning to Sexton pushing the lead to 20-12. Lawton would tie it up 20-20 in the 4th. A huge panthers TO deep in Lawton territory would be costly as Lawton never looked back scoring 16 unanswered to finish the game. Zander Sexton shined once again on both sides of the ball. Sexton would bring in 10 catches for 170 yards, TD and a 2 point conversion all coming on the arm of Bryce Lanning. Lanning would Rush for 20 yards as well. Palmer also had a big night with 115 yards rushing and 2 TD's. The boys look for their first win next Wednesday as they travel to Constantine.
