The Watervliet boys soccer team opened conference play on a positive note, earning a hard-fought victory at home over the Bridgman Bees. The Panthers put together a solid performance, showing good composure and chemistry throughout the match. The boy’s passing game stood out, as the team put together several beautiful passing sequences. The Panthers also showed great physicality, competing hard for every 50/50 ball and battling for possession throughout the game. Final Score 4-1. Scorers on the night included JT Isbrecht, Brayden Collins, Adrian Hernandez and Gabe Smith, who scored his first varsity goal. The team will travel to Cassopolis, this Thursday, for a 5pm kickoff.
