Watervliet Boy’s soccer opened the season at home in thrilling fashion. The Panthers were physical from the start and took down the Parchment Panthers, who were undefeated coming into the match. JT Isbrecht would lead the stat sheet with 4 goals, followed by Adrian Hernandez with 2, Tony Perez and Sam Casiano with one a piece. Tony P., JT and Gabe Smith would also add one assist each. The team looked composed on offense and defensively. Gavin Downey had some key saves to keep the visitors to one goal only. The team will look to carry this momentum when they travel to Lawton on Wednesday for a 6pm kickoff.
