The Watervliet Panthers finished off Senior Night in dominant fashion, completing the sweep of Michigan Lutheran with a 20-10 victory in the nightcap. The Panthers’ bats stayed scorching hot, racking up 16 hits in another explosive offensive performance. Kaylee Bartee led the charge with a huge game, collecting a single, triple, and home run while driving in five runs. Sienna Bulat added three hits including a double and two RBIs, while Alexis Eberhard and Leila Liberto-Taylor each pounded out two doubles, driving in one and two runs respectively. Freshman Sophia Radar recorded her first career varsity hit and finished with two singles and an RBI, while Aiyanna Forrester chipped in a single and RBI. Emma Kirksey and Ava Trapp each added a hit, with Trapp driving in a run. Ava Thomas earned the win in the circle as the Panthers capped off the night with a sweep. Watervliet improves to 18-11 on the season and will be back in action Wednesday as they travel to take on the Decatur Raiders.
