The Watervliet Girl’s Varsity Soccer faced off against Fennville on Senior Night in a thrilling battle from start to finish. The Panthers battled hard every minute of the game, showing incredible teamwork, hustle, and resilience on the field. Seniors Natalaya Desjardin, Marissa Lowell and Ella Isbrecht gave their best performance, as all three left it all on the field in their last home game of the season. The freshman midfield duo of Stephany Villarreal and Alex Zuniga were a constant presence, as they made difficult for the visitors to have any clear shots on goal. Katelyn Brown played her best game of the season and was a vital piece in the midfield, providing an outlet going forward for the team. Zulema Alvarado and Lily Perez both had important saves to obtain the clean sheet. A special night honoring the dedication and commitment of our seniors, whose leadership and passion have helped shape this program.
