Watervliet Public Schools

The boys track team went into Gobles with a different approach to the track meet, removing some from individual events and putting others in their place. As a result, the Panthers finished 13th out of 18 schools, whereas, last year we finished 19 out of 21 schools. One of the changes we made was that we focused on the relays and as a result, 4x800 ran a season. Best, the 4x200 ran a season vest and the 4x100 placed 8th. Individually Cole Getz placed in the long jump, Sam Casiano placed in both the the 1600m run and the 3200m run, and Froylan Flores continues to improve as he ran a PR in the 800m run. The Panthers are in action next Wednesday in Bangor competing in the regional meet.
