Watervliet Public Schools

As the season goes, track team competed in yet another cold windy day at the conference meet held in Gobles. Despite the weather, there was still a number of personal records set and overall some solid performances. Cole Getz finished 4th in the long jump and Kyle Domingo-Sturgeon finished third in the high jump, both good for all conference recognitions. Also with some solid performances today were Landon Layer in The discus with his PR, Alvin Jones at a PR and made 300 hurdles, and Froylan Flores had a PR in the 800. The panther men also ran season best in the 4x100 and the 4x200 relays. Our next meet is Friday in Gobles once again.
