Watervliet Public Schools

The Lady Panthers battled some very cold temperatures at the annual Rotary Meet as they went up against the best athletes from all of Southwest Michigan. Earning medals on the night were the 4x800 team of Braelyn Campbell, Daniella Romero, Alex Zuniga, and Payton Yeske who ran a season best of 11:02. Daniella Romero also earned a medal finishing 4th in the 3200 meters with a new PR of 13:07. Other PRs and Season Bests were Bella Clark in the shot put, Brianna Zwar in the 100 Hurdles, Payton Yeske and Alex Zuniga in the 800, Angelica Daisy and Sophia Lechuga in the 200, and Marissa Lowell in the 3200. Next up for the Panthers is the SAC Championship meet Tuesday at Gobles.
