Tough one for the JV Panthers, falling to Buchanan 11-8 on Thursday. Remington Burke led the way at the plate, going 3-for-4 with singles in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th innings. Burke was dominant in relief, tossing 4 innings with 10 strikeouts, allowing just one unearned run on one hit and no walks. Offensively, Watervliet racked up 10 hits, with Burke and Cam Pickens each collecting three. Allerman drove in two runs, and Burke added three stolen bases as the Panthers swiped four bags on the day.
