Girl’s Varsity soccer faced Saugatuck yesterday night, in a cold and windy game. The team had a strong first-half performance that limited the Trailblazers chances on goal to a minimum. Freshman, Alex Zuniga, was strong in the midfield as she held her own against the best player in the conference. Ella Isbrecht had her best game as keeper, having some vital saves to keep the team afloat. As the second half progressed, fatigue started to set in and Saugatuck was able to capitalize, pulling away with the win, despite the continued effort by the Panthers. The Panthers will host South Haven next Monday for their fourth conference game.
