Watervliet Public Schools

The Varsity golf team traveled to Gobles on Thursday for Division Tournament #3 and posted their best overall team score of 197, which was good for 4th. Sophomore Connor VanLente continued to set the pace for the Panthers firing a 41 which was good for 2nd individually. Both were career bests for VanLente. Junior Wyatt Wagner was solid once again with a career best 50. Senior Moeko Crago had her best round of the season so far with a 52, while Sophomore Lucas Wilder rounded out the scoring with a 54 in his first varsity tournament. The team next takes to the links this Saturday for the Blue Devil Invitational at Lake Cora Golf Club in Paw Paw.
