Watervliet Public Schools

The Watervliet girls soccer team opened conference play in a hard-fought matchup against hosts Bridgman. The team battled on both ends of the field and created scoring opportunities, but ultimately would be unable to capitalize in front of goal. Defensively, the team stayed organized under pressure and their effort was evident throughout the match. However, the Bee’s would capitalize on a few key opportunities to come away with the win. The team will have a short rest, as they host Black River, this Thursday, for their second conference match of the season.
