The golf team traveled to Saugatuck to play The Ravines on Tuesday night. After finishing 6th in the first conference tournament, the team put up a much better showing with a 3rd place finish out of 7 teams. Sophomore Connor VanLente led the way with a red hot 42, good for 6th individually. Junior Wyatt Wagner continued his steady play with a 50, while Juniors Ashton Coleman and Aiden Wolford rounded out the team scoing for Panthers. Senior Moeko Crago, while not exactly pleased with how she played, did factor in as the Panthers needed a tiebreaking score to secure 3rd and Crago's score won the tiebreaker. The Panthers are back on the course Thursday for the 3rd conference tournament of the season at Shamrock Hills in Gobles.
