Watervliet Public Schools

Watervliet ran into a very physical Allegan girl’s soccer side Wednesday afternoon. Despite the physical play, Watervliet showed resilience and determination throughout the match. The Panthers battled for possession, stayed organized defensively, and never backed down from challenges. The defensive line of Ella Isbrecht, Lily Perez, Aaliyah Hernandez and Marissa Lowell played a big part in keeping the team in the game. Madi Darling and Alex Zuniga went toe-to-toe with the Tigers midfield winning second balls and being an outlet for the team. The team will use this effort and build momentum moving forward as they open conference play next week away against Bridgman.
