The panther track team went into Bridgman today and competed in their invitational, with 12 other schools in the end, the Panthers came out in fifth place. Has seems to be tradition, the weather was windy and cold. Almost the entire evening. Opening up the scoring for the Panthers was Landon with a fifth place finish and a new PR in the discus with a throw of 105 ft. 7 in. Gabe Martinez also had a tremendous showing tonight as he ran the 300 m hurdles, had a PR with a time of 51.11 seconds. The Panthers also had a lot of help from the distance team consisting Cardozo-Aviles, Sam Casiano, Froylan Flores, Gavin Leiter and Tony Perez. Cole getz also had a strong showing in the sprints and long jump. Next action for the Panthers, or the panther cubs, is tomorrow at Hartford and the whole team competes next Wednesday.
