The Panthers dropped game one of their doubleheader to the Gobles Tigers, falling 12–4 in a tough matchup. Offensively, the Panthers showed flashes of production at the plate. Sienna Bulet contributed with a solid single, while Leila Liberto-Taylor delivered a big hit with a triple and drove in a run. Emma Kirksey also came through with a triple of her own, adding an RBI to help put runs on the board for the Panthers. Despite those efforts, Gobles capitalized on key opportunities throughout the game to build a lead the Panthers couldn’t overcome. Ava Thomas took the loss in the circle for the Panthers, battling through a challenging outing against a persistent Tigers lineup. The Panthers will look to regroup and bounce back in game two of the doubleheader.
