Varsity vs Bangor High School (2 - 1) Win The Panther Softball Team Claims Win In Thrilling Showdown Against the Bangor Vikings Watervliet beat Bangor 2-1 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one in the top of the eighth when an error scored one run. Emma Kirksey struck out 16 batters on the day. The starter also allowed four hits and one run over eight innings while walking six. Rae Prestidge led Watervliet Panthers-Varsity with one hit in three at bats. WP- Kirksey Rae Prestidge had a single. The Panthers continue their road trip as they travel to Gobles for a doubleheader. Panther are 3-0 on the season.
