JV Panthers End Season With Home Victory

Panthers End Season with Home Victory Against Black River Junior Varsity vs Black River High School (36 - 13) Win On Thursday Evening, the Panthers hosted the River Rats from Holland Black River. The Panthers came out firing on all cylinders as they would leap to an 8-0 run before a Black River timeout. The timeout would not change momentum as Panthers stayed on the gas while taking a 16-0 Run into the 2nd quarter. The River Rats would get on the scoreboard in the 2nd quarter but the Panther offense would outscore Black River 7-6. Panthers would take a commanding 28-6 lead into half. Panthers played stellar on both ends. Defense played aggressive laying out for loose balls and keeping Black River’s offense in check. The Panthers would go on to outscore Black River 13-7 and would pull away sealing a 36-13 victory. The team finishes the season with an 11-9 record and would go 9-4 in their last 13 games.
