Watervliet Public Schools

The Watervliet Varsity Girls Basketball team fell to Fennville on the road Friday night, 46-40. The Panther full court pressure was key in limiting the hosts to just 13 first half points which led a Watervliet 5 point lead at the break. The Blackhawks put together a 21 point third quarter to take a 6 point led going into the 4th. The Panthers tied the game up at 34 midway through the fourth before falling just short. Scoring for the Panthers on the night were Kate Kostrzewa 7, Hailey Adams 7, Isabella Bultema 6, Aubrey Winnell 6, Emma Owens 3, Addison Smith 3, Moeko Crago 3, Miranda Lowell 3, and Leila Liberto Taylor 2. The Panthers are back in action Tuesday when they travel to South Haven for a 7:00pm tip off.
