Panthers defense erupted in the 1st quarter holding the Blackhawks scoreless as they would take a 17-0 commanding lead. The Blackhawks would find a way to score in the 2nd quarter but Watervliet would only allow 3. The Blackhawks would find an answer in the 2nd half scoring 15.
