8th Grade vs Bridgman Middle School (26 - 8) Win Different day, three new starters, but the same result for the Lady Panthers. With just five 8th graders available to play and 7th grader Charlie Towne stepping up to help the team, the Lady Panthers used their usual ball pressure and full court defense to scare the Bees back into their hive. Once again Amiah Apreza used her phenomenal ball pressure to shut down the point guard and best player of the Bees, she didn't make a single field goal. While Apreza was resting or off the ball rest of the Panther Defense matched the intensity and effort by giving up just two field goals the entire game. With her first start of the season Amayah Payton stepped up huge leading the Panthers in scoring with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Also scoring for the Panthers were Apreza with 6, Pratt with 6, and Towne with 6.
