Watervliet Wins in Battle of The Panthers Junior Varsity vs Parchment High School (29 - 15) Win On Monday evening, the Lady Panthers traveled to Parchment to dual the Panthers. Both teams started out shaky, Watervliet would be the first team to score. Parchment would follow up with 3 however that would be the only time they led the game. Watervliet’s defense shines yet again holding the Panthers to a 3 point 1st. Watervliet’s offense would takeoff in the 2nd quarter scoring 12 and taking a 20-8 lead into half. Parchment would look to shrink the deficit in the 2nd half. Watervliet’s defense stood tall all game and would do so all 2nd half. Watervliet would outscore Parchment 9-7 in the half and secure a 29-15 victory.
