8th Grade vs Black River High School (41 - 13) Win The injury bug continues to hit the Lady Panthers, but being shorthanded does not slow down this team. The Panthers started the game with just 7 players and half way through the first quarter another player went down, the team might adopt "Another One Bites The Dust" as their theme song. With just 6 girls to finish the game, the girls showed great stamina and persistence playing full court defense the entire game with little breaks or rest. Ledesma, Cruz, and Apreza applied tremendous ball pressure leading to countless team steals and fastbreaks. The newest Panther, Elizabeth Ledesma, had a breakout game for the Lady Panthers with 17 points leading all scorers, Adams had 6, Cruz had 6, Apreza had 4, Zyla had 4, Payton had 2 and Pratt had two.
