Watervliet Public Schools

The Lady Panthers knocked off the visitors from Red Arrow Saturday night at home, 36-17. The Panther's controlled the game from the opening tip, limiting the Raiders to single digit scoring in every quarter. Watervliet led 20-9 at the break and extended the lead to 14 after the 3rd frame. The Panthers outscored Red Arrow in the 4th quarter, 10-5 to finish out the game. Leading the Panthers in the scoring column on the night were Daijahnae Hatcher 16, Leila Liberto Taylor 5, Isabella Bultema 5, Kate Kostrzewa 4, Hailey Adams 2, Miranda Lowell 2, and Aubrey Winnell. The Panthers move to 7-9 on the season and 3-5 at home. They are back in action on Tuesday when they host the Gobles Tigers. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
