8th Grade vs Buchanan Middle School (17 - 22) Loss The Lady Panthers had their first defeat of the season. The game was extremely physical and the girls met the challenge head on. The Panthers struggled shooting the ball going 7/39 from the field and 3/10 from the free throw line and that was the difference in the ball game. After jumping out to a 12-7 halftime lead the Panthers went scoreless in the 3rd quarter and could not regain the lead. Candace Zyla, Aubrey Pratt, and Amiah Apreza stepped up big combining for 15 rebounds against the much larger Buchanan team.
