Watervliet Public Schools

The Watervliet JV Maroon boys basketball team traveled to Coloma and earned a hard-fought 47–39 victory. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and never looked back, maintaining control for the rest of the game. Watervliet played with great energy on both ends of the floor, consistently making hustle plays that set the tone. Freshman Sam Casiano led the Panthers with an outstanding all-around performance, finishing with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals. Sophomore Ayden Domingo followed closely, contributing 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Freshman Owen Williams added 10 points. Additional scoring came from sophomore Liam Allerman with 4 points, sophomore Joey Stanisci with 3 points, and Landon, Isaias, and Marqus each chipping in 2 points. The team effort and relentless energy helped secure the road win. Panthers take on Martin on Tuesday at home. 5:30pm tip off.
