Watervliet Public Schools

Boys' Varsity Basketball dropped another close game 51-49 at Dowagiac Tuesday night. The Panthers trailed by as many as 10 in the second half but stayed tough and chipped away, tying the game 3 different times in the 4th Quarter. Watervliet had a shot to win it at the buzzer but came up short. Forwards Kyle Domingo-Sturgeon and Tyler Jarvis dominated the interior throughout the game and kept the Panthers in it, scoring 31 of Watervliet's 49 points. Both had career highs with Domingo-Sturgeon pouring in 21 points and Jarvis contributing 10. The Panthers travel to Coloma Friday night at 7:30.
