Watervliet Public Schools

The boys Varsity Wrestlers were in Berrien Springs last Friday, for the Berrien Springs Super Dual. The guys competed as a team in 5 team duals, finishing the night with 3 wins and 2 losses. The Panthers defeated Bangor 42-36, Bronson 48-12, and Red Arrow 36-30 before falling to Battle Creek Pennfield and the hosting Shamrocks. This placed the Panthers 3rd out of 6 teams. JT Isbrecht brought home an Individual medal for going 5-0 with 3 pins. Others with contested wins on the night were Josh Koch, Sam Roland, and Gavin Leiter. The team will have a short break from competition, with their next action in the Dunneback Invitational at West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids on January 3rd.
