Panther go Head to Head with The Bees fall short in the 4th Quarter Junior Varsity vs Bridgman High School (32 - 36) Loss On Friday Dec. 19th, The JV Lady Panthers hosted the Bees from Bridgman. 1st Quarter from The Panthers showed tremendous effort on the defensive side of the ball forcing multiple turnovers. Lady Panthers would only trail The Bees 9-6 heading into the 2nd. The Panthers would even things up heading into the half 14-14. The team worked tirelessly and never let the game get out of hand, for most of the night both teams traded baskets. Panthers would attempt to fight back for the lead in the 4th as they trailed by 4 with 1 minute remaining. Bees with 30 seconds remaining would respond with 2 points as they attempted to put the game away. Lady Panthers would score as time expired but would fall at home 36-32. The team heads into break 2-2, they will open the new year hosting Dowagiac. Scorers: Winnell & Campbell: 13 Each Bartee/ Thomas/ Berry: 2 Each
