Watervliet Public Schools

The Watervliet Panthers traveled to Allegan and knocked off the Tigers 37-34 in the first SAC Lakeshore matchup of the season. The Panthers started off slow offensively, tallying just 12 first half points and trailed by 8 at the break. The second half was all Panthers as they outscored the Tigers 27-14. Isabella Bultema led the Panthers on the night with 15 followed by Daijahnae Hatcher with 10. Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers was Moeko Crago 6, Leila Liberto Taylor 5, and Marissa Lowell 1. The Panthers move to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in SAC Lakeshore play. Next up, at Michigan Lutheran on Monday. Tip off is scheduled for 5:00pm.
