The 8th Grade White Boys Basketball Team Pick Up Road Win Over Bloomingdale, 32–20 The Watervliet 8th Grade Boys White team hit the road Tuesday night and returned home with a strong 32–20 victory over the Bloomingdale Cardinals. The Panthers controlled the tempo on both ends of the floor, putting together one of their most complete performances of the season. Watervliet’s offense was powered by Jackson Halamka, who led all scorers with 11 points, attacking the rim and setting the tone early. Robert Brooks followed with a solid 9-point effort, continuing his steady play in the backcourt. Tyler Marshall chipped in 4 points, while Kevin Hernandez provided a spark off the bench by knocking down a big three-pointer. Bradyn Fuller and Logan Hernandez each added 2 points, helping extend the Panthers’ lead throughout the game. On the defensive end, Landon Tipton put together an outstanding performance, shutting down passing lanes and making key stops that kept Bloomingdale from gaining momentum. With the 32–20 win, the Panthers continue to build confidence as they move deeper into the season. The Panthers hit the road Wednesday as they travel to Saugatuck. Panthers are 4-3 on the season.
