Panthers Lock Down Gobles for a 32–16 Victory The Watervliet 8th Grade Boys White team put together one of their most complete performances of the season, earning a strong 32–16 win over the Gobles Tigers. From start to finish, the Panthers controlled the tempo, using balanced scoring and tough defense to pull even at 3–3 on the year. Watervliet’s offense was paced by Bentley Gaston, who delivered a team-high 12 points and set the tone early with confident drives to the basket. Jackson Halamka continued his steady play, adding 6 points, while Tyler Marshall came off the bench and immediately made an impact. Marshall sparked the Panthers with 5 points, giving the team a crucial burst of energy in the second half. Rounding out the scoring, Bradyn Fuller and Robert Brooks contributed 2 points each, helping the Panthers maintain a comfortable lead as the defense shut down Gobles’ attempts to rally. With the victory, Watervliet improves to 3–3 on the season. The Panthers will look to keep their momentum rolling when they hit the road next week. Their next matchup is Monday, December 1st, as they travel to take on Bloomingdale.
