8th Grade vs Lawton Middle School (28 - 21) Win Watervliet 8th Grade Boys White Team Earns First Win of the Season The Watervliet 8th Grade Boys White basketball team picked up their first victory of the season with a strong 28–21 win over the Lawton Blue Devils. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, controlling the pace on both ends of the floor. Robert Brooks led the way with 11 points, while Bentley Gaston added 8. Jackson Halamka contributed 5 points and dominated defensively with 5 blocks. Kevin Hernandez and Mason Lee each chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring effort. With the win, Watervliet improves to 1–2 on the season and looks to build momentum heading into their next matchup.
