8th Grade Maroon basketball opened their season with a win at home vs Bridgman Middle School. The panthers had their moments of great team offense and high level of defensive intensity but too many careless turnovers and a lack of defensive commitment on every possession allowed the game to remain close. Watervliet looks to build on their season opening win this Wednesday when they take on Holland Black River
