First and foremost, I hope everyone is healthy, safe, and staying strong!!
As we approach the end of the school year, I can’t help but to think about how thankful I am for your commitment, strength, and PRIDE you have displayed since March 13th!!! I am proud to be part of this Panther family. The challenges we faced were unimaginable and often times faced without a real sense of what would be next. But, we are going to make it through this and come out better on the other end. It won’t be easy and we still have a lot of work to do, but I am confident we will be stronger, better.
Our school continues to work on a plan to reengage our athletes as soon as possible. We continue to get information from the governor, MHSAA,and our school administration. As you are aware, this information changes almost daily. When we return, our goal will be simple: to reengage our athletes in the safest environment possible. We will do this using National Federation for High School and MHSAA guidelines.
What can you do? First, update or register your daughter/son in final forms. (www.watervliet.finalforms.com). Before any athlete can participate in ANY summer workouts they MUST be in final forms. This tool will help us track all COVID-19 regulations as they pertain to MHSAA & NFHS guidelines. If your daughter/son had a physical last year, they will NOT need another for this year. BUT, you will have to PRINT and FILL out a HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE from final forms.
Lastly, if your daughter/son has any sports equipment, uniforms, etc, please have them return it to the school when they are scheduled to return other school items on Tuesday, June 9 or Wednesday, June 10.
Please do not hesitate to call or email us at anytime. 463-0758 or email@example.com
Please look for information next week regarding summer workouts.
