Panthers News · IMPACT WATERVLIET!!

119 student-athletes from Watervliet High School, 10 coaches, and more than 10 city employers collaborated today and spent over 3 hours working on various painting projects in and around Hays Park, Flaherty Park, and the city of Waterliet in the first annual “Impact Watervliet” volunteer day.

“I am so proud of our student athletes, coaches, and city employees for working on this project today”, commented Ken Dietz, Athletic Director.  Over 300 man hours were given back to the city by our student-athletes.  And to be able to work side by side with our city employees who work so hard everyday to keep our downtown area and parks looking so good was an awesome experience.
Thank you Tyler Dotson, Jeff Allen, and Ryan Newberry, and the rest of your team for working with our team.
