Running has been a lifelong activity for Aaron Weber. He grew up in St. Joseph, where he attended school and ran both cross country and track with The Bears.
This is Aaron’s 21st year of teaching and coaching at Watervliet. Aaron teaches Social Studies classes at the high school level. His World History class is a required course, so Aaron is well known to virtually all the students at WHS.
He has coached his cross country runners to three boys cross country Regional championship and one girls regional championship. Aaron is also the Current Panthers’ head track and field coach. Earlier as an assistant with the track program he helped coach the girls to three Regional track championships.
Aaron grew up with an older brother. He is the father of two boys attending WHS, Noah (junior) and Jackson (freshman). He loves all kinds of music, and enjoys reading in his spare time.
Aaron says the goal this year is to get the boys cross team in position to make a run at one of the top three spots at the Regional Meet, thereby qualifying to participate in the State Meet.
