Game Recap

The Lady Panthers travelled to Hartford to play their conference rival. The Panthers used their aggressive press to force several turnovers and turned them into easy baskets. Watervliet also worked their offense well against Hartford’s zone, and took a 24-14 lead into halftime. Hartford turned up the defensive pressure in the 2nd half, and Watervliet struggled to execute their press break, resulting in Hartford cutting the lead to 4 at the end of the 3rd. But Watervliet controlled the last 4 minutes of the game, and hit clutch free throws down the stretch. Logan Mizwicki lead the Panthers with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Katie Schultz added 9 points and 4 steals. The Panthers are now 7-3 overall and 6-0 in the division.
